I am in an awful hurry as I had to sneak in one last rock climbing session before I head off to the Pacific coast to a city called Cali. A city in Colombia famous for busting some pretty rad salsa moves, and as I am told dancing in general. This adventure will be to fully experience the Novena(9th) nine days before Christmas which are celebrated with family get together and all sorts of other things that I will be sharing in my next entry.. In Colombia Christmas is celebrated on the 24th rather than the 25th. So I will return from Cali in time to spend Christmas with Myriam, Oscar and the rest of the clan in a town called Subecoche.
P.S. I bought a pretty awesome suitcase (as you can see in the photo) for $2.50 in the 2nd store the church runs and it is probably one of the coolest things I now own, and thought it fitting for this quick blog entry.

Can't wait to hear about Cali - the suitcase is??? awesome, unusual, big - I hope it brings home some neat little souvenirs:) Have a wonderful time with the new dance experience and certainly a Merry Christmas that will be another wonderful story in your adventure. Audra, I see that you have found the right places to shop, nothing like a good find at a thrift store. I suppose that your mom has filled you in on the weather here, it is beautiful, have not had my car out in over a week, and I/we have about 30 inches of snow on the back deck, again it is really beautiful. Driveway is now plowed out so I may try getting the car out and doing a bit of grocery shopping, Can't fix my south western egg breakfast dish with out cheese, just will not tast the same, we will be having brunch with your family Christmas. All is well here, although I do not llike not being able to get out an go when I want. I did go for a walk last evening every thing is so quite when it snows
Stacy leaves on the 26th, we have hope to get together before she leaves and have lunch, alas the weather is somewhat of a factor on that lunch.
